The large cloud providers condense experience into their architecture frameworks. In this step, we introduce them and discuss the methodical approach to using them.

In this step, we sharpen your most important architecture goals with you through quality scenarios and identify first risks that endanger these goals.

Identifying Measures
We now identify suitable solution options for the most important quality scenarios. These represent measures for implementing the quality scenario. In one or more measure workshops, we specifically search for measures from our own wealth of experience or the cloud vendors’ architecture frameworks.

Prioritizing the Measures
Depending on the business importance of the quality scenarios, we prioritize them - and thus the measures - into the backlogs. This creates an order for implementing the improvements.

FAQs
Does the approach also work if we're not in the cloud?
Generally, yes. The approach always works if you’re developing highly scalable systems and meet a few basic prerequisites (e.g. self-service infrastructure).
Can I simply apply the architecture frameworks myself?
Of course! And we think that’s a good thing too. However, they are very large and the right way to use them isn’t necessarily easy. With our methodically sound consulting, we’re happy to help you with the first steps.
The approach is iterative. Do I need to commission embarc for every iteration?
No. The method is of course also applicable independently. We’re happy to walk through the first iteration together with you and put you in a position to continue working independently. You can of course bring us back in selectively afterwards if needed.
