Trainer: Stefan Toth
Software Architecture Summit
Donnerstag, 17. September 2015, 09:00 – 12:15 Uhr
Berlin, Hotel NH Friedrichstraße
In lots of today’s projects, self-organizing and cross-functional teams are a huge deal. Architecture is a mutual task of developers and the responsibility is shared across teams. Instead of models, documents and standard guidelines, modern IT companies embrace Blogs and freedom of choice. Architecture is not getting less important in the process, but is done differently. New capabilities are needed – architects and developers need an updated set of technical, methodical and communicative skills. This workshop shows, what we can learn from the pioneers of the IT industry. It gives an impression, how agile principles and ideas affect architectural practice and how architectural design methods fit into agile projects and organizations. Handy practices, useful tactics and helpful perspectives are presented and tested in small exercises. Overall this half day gives a starting point to challenge your architectural practice, to purify your design tasks and complement them with pragmatic and goal-oriented techniques that fit.
